With it’s catchy title and intriguing cover art, I was not expecting much from this Aussie effort. I know that sounds backwards but as I’ve come to know, slick packaging often doesn’t truthfully represent it’s promise to the perspective viewer. This little gem did “not” disappoint !

Jam-packed with evil wraiths and reapers, this film delivers the goods along with some effective mythological mayhem. The appearance of the wailing Banshee is truly eerie and atmospheric. The CGI is used more to enhance it’s make up effects and the cast both dead and undead make a credible bunch.

I’m not saying James Cameron has anything to worry about but if you are looking for an updated, Evil-Deadish Fright Flick…you will surely salivate through this one. It’s fast paced, well shot and just plain fun. So grab some popcorn and turn out the lights, this one will creep up on you!
